The Republican Computer Center of Mechanical Engineering of The State Scientific Institution “The Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus” was established by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated June 2, 2005 № 587.

Industrial Design

  • drawing up the terms of reference (including the drafting of a design project and the key requirement for it);
  • design proposal (analysis of information, development of alternate design (conceptual design), provision of a rationale for the development);
  • conceptual and preliminary design of projects (documents containing basic fundamental design decisions and the rationale for the selected option, the basis for the preparation of the technical project);
  • technical design project (detailed study of the structure with the use of the software of CAD modeling and direct access to the CAM-elaboration);
  • reversingiring (using CAD-software modeling and 3D-scanning);
  • layout (using a 3D-printing technology and 3D-scanning);
  • development of corporate style (from company logos to shaping of the overall corporate identity, brandbook of the company);
  • development of promotional materials (animation, rendering, video clips, presentations, etc.).

Design Engineering

  • engineering and coordination of the technical requirements with the client;
  • development of edvanced mechanical engineering products on the basis of hich-tech technologies with the use of modern methods of two-dimensional and three-dimensional design (CAD-application of technology);
  • issue of engineering documents according to ESKD requirements;
  • conducting of research works and development projects in mechanical engineering;
  • implementation of design works on installation of various equipment on vehicle chassis;
  • search for suppliers of constituent parts and coordination with them of stock-lists;
  • technical support for production, research and participation in the acceptance tests;
  • conducting independent examinations of engineering projects, design documentation and technical solutions;

  • creating of three-dimensional models of any complexity; correction of errors of three-dimensional models;

Calculations and Computer modeling

STUDY OF KINEMATICS AND DYNAMICS OF MULTICOMPONENT MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
  • kinematic, dynamic and strength analysis of mechanical systems of any complexity;
  • combined multiunit models, including geometric CAD-models, flexible FEA-models, elements of control systems and multi-disciplinary sub-models, hydraulic, electric and hydro-systems;
  • analysis of indicators of the strain-stress state of parts and components of the system during performance;
  • NVH-analysis of mechanical systems, the analysis of their own and forced oscillations;
  • optimization of mechanical systems and components


STUDY OF MECHANICAL SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS BY FINITE ELEMENT METHOD IN THE EXPLICIT AND IMPLICIT STATEMENT
  • calculation of structural strength with consideration for straight-line relation of all types, including construction of composite;
  • modeling of fast dynamic processes (crash testing);
  • solution of coupled problems;
  • formulation of solving the problems in explicit and implicit statement;
  • analysis of construction design stability;
  • harmonic tests and modal analysis;
  • identification of the parameters of non-linear material models;
  • modeling of technological processes of manufacture of machines structure and elements


EVALUATION OF FATIGUE LIFE
  • evaluation of structural components according to the results of calculating of strain-stress state using the finite element method;
  • evaluation of a set of measures to improve the fatigue life of structures (on the basis of a comparative analysis of made modifications);
  • evaluation of welded, threaded and other joints;
  • modeling and testing of programs of accelerated bench and performance tests;
  • research and identification of the causes of the destruction of machines parts and structures


OBJECT-ORIENTED SYSTEMS MODELING, INCLUDING
  • modeling and analysis of machine control algorithms;
  • problem solving of multidisciplinary system modeling, including: mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems; thermodynamic and gas-dynamic processes in the system;
  • research of systems and control objects using HIL-, SIL-technologies


VIRTUAL TESTING

  • to evaluate performance maneuverability, smoothness of movement, handleability and stability in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents;
  • to evaluate active and passive safety of vehicles to meet the requirements of regulatory documents (STB GOST, UNECE Regulations, ISO, ROPS / FOPS);
  • development, verification and validation of calculation methods for conducting virtual testing (determination of modes and loading schemes, boundary and initial conditions, requirements and permissions to the calculation model) according to client requirements

  • performance of forced bench and full-scale fatigue tests of machines and their components;
  • development of hardware and software for measuring, accumulation of experimental data, bench and road tests management;
  • development of methods and testing for the purpose of validation of calculation methods and models
