Directions of activities
VOLUMETRIC AND SURFACE HARDENING OF ALUMINUM ALLOYS, INCLUDING USING NANOMATERIALS
With volumetric hardening of aluminum alloys with nanostructured modifiers, an increase in tensile strength up to 3 times, wear resistance and antifriction properties by 4–5 times, and load-bearing capacity by 2–3 times is achieved.

Surface hardening of aluminum alloys with composite ceramic coatings increases the wear resistance of friction pairs by 2–8 times while reducing the weight of structures by replacing such alloys with steels, cast iron, bronze, etc.
.
STUDY OF HARDENING PROCESSES AND PATTERNS OF PHASE-STRUCTURAL TRANSFORMATIONS DURING THERMOCHEMICAL TREATMENT OF GEARS MADE OF STRUCTURAL STEELS OF VARIOUS CHEMICAL COMPOSITIONS. DEVELOPMENT OF CHEMICAL AND THERMAL HARDENING TECHNOLOGIES IN RELATION TO SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT THAT ENSURE THE REQUIRED QUALITY OF POWER TRANSMISSION PARTS FOR AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT

The research results make it possible to reduce energy and material costs by up to 30 % with the use of sparingly alloyed steels, and to increase the durability of parts by 1.2–1.5 times due to an increase in the endurance limits of the material and the quality of hardening.
